Lilli's birthday

On Saturday it was Lilli's birthday. She had so much fun. When we got into the room there were huge black and white striped high heels. There were even round seats to rest your feet on. When the ladies came in they did our nails. I had dark pink and light pink and everyone had pretty silver sparkles on top. Lilli the birthday girl she had colourful nails and sparkles on top. Devan had light pink and light green. Rylee had red and pink,or,dark blue,or,green. Wow we had so much fun.p

The crushing storm!

Last Tuesday the 10th of September 2013 Canterbury was punished by a thundering storm. From 8pm until the following morning it was a terrible sight. The wind howled, the lightning flashed and the thunder crashed throughout the night and many residents were kept awake in fear. In the morning residents woke up with a terrible fright. There were thousands of trees that had crashed to the ground. There was even one that has fallen right on the tennis court right beside Emma's house in Burnham camp. As well as that no one could enter the tennis court. The cars were blocked and no one could get into there homes so they could be safe and sound. The residents in the night were shivering in there homes. Local resident Monica says that the storm has affected Burnham school and other homes but lucky no one got hurt by this terrible storm. Burnham school was closed for the three days due to the power cut and many trees that fell on the grounds. A week later the is still a mess to clean up.

Tonight's the night

On Wednesday 28th of August we went to Cultural festival it was so much fun because we got to stay up from 5:30pm - 9:30pm or 10:00 my favourite part was when you got to watch the DYNAMITES! perform on stage. It looked like they were having fun! I wish I could do that?.We had to wear black lipstick ,a black skirt ,even a dark black tee - shirt.What fun I had! Only the juniors wear those clothes,and headbands. The seniors wore dresses that were black ,white ,red they wore black lipstick as well. We just had so much fun.
